My two boys are ALL boy. They LOVE being outdoors and exploring, building, and creating.

God is so good to give us a place to let them do that. As we have traveled this summer, they have seen incredible things that God has created. From the mountains to the oceans and everything in between.

The beauty of Psalm 104 proclaims the glory of the Lord because of His handiwork.

It is as a meditation and adoration of God. Just as my boys exploring, no stone is left unturned.

*He stretches the heavens like a tent

*He set the earth on its foundation

*He makes springs gush forth in valleys

*He waters the mountains

*He makes grass grow

*The moon marks the seasons

*Lions roar and seek food

*The sea is full of creatures large and small

*He touches the mountains and they smoke

And the list goes on. God is an intentional God. He has specific plans for each and everything.

How intentional am I in the things He has given me. Not just in the day to day, but in the praising and the adoring, and the resting?

You see, the other part of this Psalm focuses on the song we are to sing back to Him.

*Bless the Lord, O my soul

*You are clothed with majesty and splendor

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

As long as we have breath, let us be focused on praising the God who holds that breath in His hands. He has us close, loves us so deeply, and walks beside us every step of the way. He is worth every minute!!
